• Mentored by current Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Division Chief about managing fisheries resources at the state government level and effectively communicating fisheries science to policy makers

• Developed communication strategy to effectively present thesis research about the effects of climate change on brook trout to Michigan’s Natural Resource Commission (MNRC)
