I am an Associate Professor (tenure-track) in Minority Studies at the Åbo Akademi University (abo.fi/en/minority-research) and a team leader and university researcher in the Subproject: Migration and the narrative of Europe as an “Area of freedom, security and justice” at the The Centre of Excellence in Law, Identity and the European Narratives (eurostorie.org) at the University of Helsinki. My current research focuses on the conceptualisation of undocumented migrants as the new European minority and on the epistemological role of exile for a law.
