My research is at the intersection of data management and machine learning (ML), including: optimization of ML pipelines (MAKE2022), ML model management and materialization (ICDE2021, EDBT2022), instance-optimal indexing (AIDB@VLDB2022), graph processing (WSDM2023, VLDB2022, Entropy2022), data summarization and model sketching (ICDE2022, CIKM2022, WWW2021, PODS2021). I'm also interested in developing computational techniques for other domains (HPC-HD project, WWW2022).

Before Helsinki, I taught at INSA Lyon for one semester (2017) and spent four years (2013-2017) as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of Toronto (2013) and my diploma in engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (2006).
