I am a doctoral researcher in environmental sciences with an academic background in landscape architecture and urban planning. My research centers on the conservation and restoration of urban water bodies, such as wetlands and ponds, through policy-driven approaches, ecological rehabilitation, and environmental history. I investigate how historical land-use decisions and urban development practices shape current water landscape conditions and influence restoration potential. My work employs a combination of qualitative and spatial research methods, including archival analysis and field observation, to analyze urban water landscapes within dynamic city environments. In my recent research, I collaborated with stakeholders and examined urban wetland policy structures, combining policy analysis with participatory spatial data to better understand governance dynamics and local perspectives. I am broadly interested in green-blue infrastructure, public preferences, nature-based solutions, and sustainable water management in urban contexts. I hold two master’s degrees focused on sustainable urban green and blue infrastructure and the environmental protection of historic landscapes. In addition to my academic experience, I have worked in municipal administration and urban landscape design, with an interest in stakeholder engagement and collaborative planning.
