Tutkimuksen ja opetuksen kuvaus

Current research is focused on molecular level events leading to malaria infection. We carry out structural biological research on the known or proposed key components involved in the onset of malaria in the human host. Understanding the infection mechanism at the molecular and atomic levels could facilitate development of better means for malaria treatment or prevention.
