Nia Sullivan (Åbo Akademi) has been chosen to receive the Annual Master’s Thesis Award awarded by The Association for Gender Studies in Finland (SUNS). University Teacher Eila Rantonen chose Sullivan’s Master’s thesis, “Disposing of the narrative: How Black women make meaning of gendered racial socialization messages in Finland”, to be awarded. A text where Rantonen tells about her decision will be published in Sukupuolentutkimus–Genusforskning journal later. SUNS warmly congratulates Sullivan for her award!
