Multivariate Gaussian processes for hierarchical modelling of species distributions

Climate change, biological invasions and other environmental changes are major threats to biodiversity, food production and health of humans and societies. However, preparing for these threats is hindered by lack of statistical tools to reliably predict the effects of these processes. Specifically, there is urgent need for predictive species distribution models in ecology and environmental management. In response to these challenges, in this project we develop novel methods for predicting species distributions in changing world.
