Book Review of "The Constitutional System of the Hong Kong SAR"

Hart’s series of constitutional law has expanded to Asia, as the series now has books on Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Singapore, Taiwan, India, Pakistan, and Myanmar. The latest addition is a volume on the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (2023) written by Hong Kong University professors Albert Hung-yee Chen and Po Jen Yap. This book, apart from its standalone value, can be seen as a part of the trend of expanding studies on forms of constitutionalism globally and, in particular, taking Asian systems into account. This volume is of particular interest because there have been important changes during the last few years.
