MICROFLUIDIC IMMOBILIZED ENZYME REACTOR FOR DETERMINING THE ELIMINATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL DRUG RESIDUES IN FISH

Abstrakti

This work introduces microfluidic immobilized enzyme reactor for studying hepatic elimination of pharmaceuticals and other aquatic contaminants in fish in vitro. A new protocol is developed for biotinylation of fish liver microsomes and for their immobilization on micropillar arrays made of off-stoichiometric thiol-enes that
are functionalized with avidin. As the proof-of-concept data, xenobiotic glucuronidation on chip is demonstrated.
