Abstrakti
Viron uskontotilanne muuttui radikaalisti kommunistivallan romahdettua 1990-luvun alussa. Tutkimuksessa selvitetään Viron venäläisten ja virolaisten uskonnollisuutta 1990-luvulla sekä sitä miten uskonto liittyy kansallisen identiteetin muodostumiseen. Tutkimus pohjautuu Virossa 1990-luvulla toteutettuihin kyselyihin sekä tilasto- ja arkistomateriaalin.
The religious situation in Estonia changed radically following the collapse of communist rule in the early 1990s. The study explores the religiosity of Estonian Russians and Estonians in the 1990s and how religion is related to the formation of national identity. The study is based on surveys conducted in Estonia in the 1990s as well as statistical and archive material.
