Visiting research fellow at Center of Islamic and Middle Eastern Law (CIMEL), SOAS, London

I conducted collaborative research work with Professor Lynn Welchman, Ziba Mir-Hosseini, and Samia Bano, at CIMEL, SOAS. In addition, I co-organized a workshop on November 29 and 30 to present draft chapters of an edited volume on transnational Muslim families, which I am co-editing with Marja Tiilikainen, Sanna Mustasaari, and Abdirashid Ismail, to be published by Routledge. I also gave a lecture in one of the classes taught by Prof. Lynn Welchman during my research visit.
