How can we activate silences in displacement stories relationally? what are the conditions producing ongoing silences and specific forms of speaking part of displacement narratives in museums? how to reclaim and articulate silences in displacement narratives through sensorial modes?

The workshop takes as a starting point our work on decolonizing knowledges: silences in living and historical archives by Saba Hamzah in collaboration with Kolar Aparna's work on building situated knowledges part of epistemic struggles around citizenship, exile and borders. It aims to open up a collective reflection process through visual poetic modes with an interdisciplinary group of artists and researchers working on themes of displacement through sensorial modes.
