Teacher interviews cultural heritage and digitalisation 2016-17

This data set consists of 10 interviews conducted with 12 teachers during 2016/17 for the purpose of my thesis “Past presencing and heritage making in school. A media ethnography of everyday assignments” . The data consists of transcripts of oral interviews conducted in person in schools with teachers in humanities subjects. The topics discussed include the following topics: Teaching background, gender / age group, definitiions of cultural heritage, descriptions of related classroom activities focusing on preparation, sources and resources used, and personal opinions and description of habits with digital media both in school and in private life. A readme file is included providing an overview of participants, informant selection method and interview guideline. The dataset is open for research, teaching and learning purposes.
