I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Digital Geography Lab, University of Helsinki, from August 2019 until October 2021. I worked in the Urban Innovation Action HOPE - Healthy Outdoor Premises for Everyone project, in which we focused on measuring and understanding multiple environmental exposures in travel environments. In the project, the Digital Geography Lab developed a Green Paths routing tool for finding more pleasant walking and cycling routes in the Helsinki region in terms of air quality, noise levels and the presence of greenery. 

Currently, I have returned to the Mobility Lab of the University of Tartu to study the experience of greenery exposure in travel environments throughout the seasons. We are also continuing our collaboration with the Digital Geography Lab within the fields of environmental exposure research, human mobility, and mobile big data. 

In March 2022, I was promoted to Associate Professor in Urban Environment at the Department of Geography, University of Tartu.
