The accelerating biodiversity loss is one of the greatest global challenges of our time. Cross-disciplinary research and cross-sectoral collaboration are required to find effective solutions. My research projects cover topics such as different conservation policies and legislation, analyzing their effectiveness with the help of ecological knowledge, as well as from a social science perspective, trying to find ways to improve their effectiveness.

At the moment I work as a reseracher funded by the Kone foundation. I am currently supervising two PhD students and two MSc students.
