Information om forskning och undervisning

Research: At the present, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Helsinki (UH) working in Belgian led project CCSOM (Constraining CMEs and Shocks by Observations and Modelling throughout the inner heliosphere), where I perform runs with EUHFORIA (EUropean Heliospheric FORecasting Information Asset) model. EUHFORIA is a state-of-the-art magnetohydrodynamics model that reconstructs the background solar wind conditions, up to about the orbit of Mars (~ 2 AU), and the propagation of one or multiple CME through this background. The main purpose of my work is to investigate how well EUHFORIA reconstructs the plasma and magnetic field of CMEs that have been encountered by multiple spacecraft in the solar wind.

Teaching: I have been a teaching assistant to the course "Space Applications of Plasma Physics, taught at the University of Helsinki.
