Forskningsintressen

My research is at the intersection of data management and machine learning (ML), including: efficient ML pipelines (ECML'26, KBS'24, EDBT'22, ICDE'21), optimized indexing (EDBT'27, EDBT'24, AIDB@VLDB'22), graph processing (WSDM'23, VLDB'22), data summarization and model sketching (SDM'23, ICDE'22, CIKM'22, WWW'21, PODS'21). I'm also interested in developing computational techniques for other domains (NLP4DH'26, DSA'25, WWW'22).

Before Helsinki, I taught at INSA Lyon for one semester (2017) and spent four years (2013-2017) as a postdoctoral researcher at Aalto University. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of Toronto (2013) and my diploma in engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (2006).
