Information om forskning och undervisning
My background is in computer science and bioinformatics. I have a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Helsinki, where I defended my PhD thesis in 2009. I have worked in the Metapopulation Reserch Group (MRG) in 2010-2015. Currently I am working on the Saimaa ringed seal gemomics in Petri Auvinen's lab in the Institute of Biotechnology. My research interests include (population) genomics, linkage mapping and similar topics.
