Research: Breast cancer and treatment of breast cancer, translational and epidemiological cancer studies. Published more than 100 scientific articles in international publications with a wide range of discussions on cancers. So far, supervision of eight doctoral dissertations.

Member of the Board of the Finnish Breast Cancer Group, Member of the Board of the Foundation for the Finnish Cancer Institute, editorial board of several international scientific publications, active member and also Finland’s liaison with the European Society for Medical Oncology ESMO.
