Description of Teaching and Research

I am a senior lecturer in university pedagogy. I mainly teach pedagogical courses for university teachers. At the moment my research focuses on university students' and teachers' well-being and on university students' study processes.  I am interested in the relations between university students' learning processes, experiences of the teaching-learning environment and well-being. Our research has shown that learning processes are strongly related to university students' ability to regulate their learning and emotions as well as successes and failures. We argue that university students are very heterogeneous and thus also need differentiated support during their studies.  To sum it up, in my research I explore the individual differences in learning and well-being at different phases of the university studies and also factors that influence university teachers' well-being.
