Eläinten tunteet näkyviksi - Visualising animal emotions using thermal imaging

In this project, we combine cutting edge thermal imaging techniques with behavioral analysis of zoo animals to visualise their emotional states. We also survey zoo visitors to understand what affects our ability to detect and interpret animal emotions. Our goal is to develop techniques for advancing understanding and interpretation of animal emotions, and to improve animal welfare and interspecific empathy.
