Finnish forests and wood products in climate change mitigation

The research consortium enhances the economically and environmentally efficient management of forest resources by analysing how forests and wood products can be used to migitate climate change (forest and wood product sinks, bioenergy, material substitution). The consortium studies the impacts of different uses of forests and the policy and legal options for mitigating climate change and conserving biodiversity.
