Beskrivning (abstrakt)

The Horizon-2020 INTAROS project overall objective is to develop an integrated Arctic Observation System (iAOS) by extending, improving and unifying existing systems in the different regions of the Arctic. Project has strong multidisciplinary focus, with tools for integration of data from atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere and terrestrial sciences. Satellite Earth’s observations and in-situ observing systems both play important role for observing global climate and environment changes. The evolution into sustainable iAOS requires coordination, mobilization and cooperation between existing international infrastructures, modeling and stakeholders communities. Project develops platform to search for and access data from distributed databases. Currently the project web-based catalogue (https://catalog-intaros.nersc.no) includes various datasets from different organizations and cover different themes.
