Journalism and the Finnish forest conflicts

The research project “Journalism and the Finnish forest conflicts” examines how Finnish forest journalism navigates in the midst of political and societal conflicts around forest use. The multidisciplinary research team approaches the project through different materials and research perspectives. In addition to collecting media material and examining which perspectives have dominated Finnish forest journalism, we also interview journalists, forest owners, experts, and activists.
