Molecular mechanisms of mitochondrial enzymes, and their role in health and diseases

Beskrivning

The project aims to study the mitochondrial proteins such as the ones involved in generating ATP by carrying out complicated electron and proton transfer reactions. These are studied in my group with computational techniques and using high-performance supercomputing. To support computational work a large number of collaborations exist with experimental teams in Finland and abroad.
