Potato is one of the most important food crop worldwide which ranks 4th in the production and 3rd in most consumed crop globally. Due to lack of genetic diversity, potato crops are vulnerable to biotic and abiotic stress. Current potatoes varieties are affected by numerous diseases and are also susceptible to water stress. This study focused on four potato diseases (late blight, early blight, tuber blight and black leg) as biotic stress and drought as abiotic stress.
