Portuguese youth’s joint projects with peers, romantic partners and researchers through the transition to adulthood: An in-depth analysis across and within relational contexts

It was the aim of the study to build on and expand the research done during the first triennium of the fellowship. In particular to describe and understand Portuguese youths transition to adulthood, specifically the naturally occurring transition to adulthood joint projects in which youth, participating in diverse social or cultural contexts (e.g., attending college, street youth), engage with peers and non-familial adults, as well as with people with whom they currently maintain a stable romantic relationship. Contextual Action Theory is the overall conceptual and methodological framework adopted for the design and execution of the research program.
