Project leader "Multinational Migrants: Ways of Adaptation in the Nordic and Baltic Countries”, funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers`

This project seeks innovative approaches from public and academic fields to better understand how to maintain migrant identities, often oversimplified in media and politics. It focuses on the key groups and factors impacting their vulnerability and resilience. Specifically, the project looks at the successful adaptation and integration practices for Russian migrants in the Nordic countries, with special emphasis on strategies for engaging women, children, and youth. The experiences from Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and Lithuania, led by social and cultural organizations, provide a basis for exploring effective integration methods within the civil societies of the Northern region.
