Beskrivning (abstrakt)
SACTS stands for “Sensory Acts” – a multi-disciplinary 5-year research project, supported in part by the SSHRC. Our work is based on the premise that animals, plants, and humans share an ancient history of nonverbal communication. Yet, for most Western thinkers, the human ability to speak and express abstract thought separates us from animals and plants.
