TAY HEI-ICI LMUU II

The LMUU II project will institutionalize knowledge on higher education leadership and management by integrating such knowledge into new and existing academic (basic) and professional (applied) masters’ programmes. In addition, a track on higher education leadership and management will be developed for new and existing doctoral programmes at University of KwaZulu-Natal, Makerere University and the Uganda Management Institute. This desired situation demonstrates that the higher education units at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Makerere University as well as the Uganda Management Institute have sustainable knowledge bases for the development of higher education leadership and management. These partner institutions will therefore be able to produce new experts, to carry out systematic research to inform policy and management, and generate indigenous knowledge. Through the capacity building efforts an African-Finnish network would emerge to further develop the knowledge base and communication on higher education leadership and management.
