Beskrivning (abstrakt)
TUUMA27 network project focuses especially on the perspectives of skilled workforce, rural service structures, renewable entrepreneurship and regional economy.
The aim of the network project is to identify and highlight factors affecting the local economy, as well as related solutions and practices that strengthen renewable work, entrepreneurship and vitality in rural areas. The network improves the availability of skilled workforce to rural businesses by developing the smooth connections between education and working life and the consideration of immigrants' added value. The aim is also to ensure that changes in service and cooperation structures succeed in supporting the growth and renewal of entrepreneurship in rural areas and strengthening the social economy. The aim is to support planning and decision-making related to the development of regional economies by anticipating the effects of various changes and providing information.
TUUMA27 networking is about influencing and communication. The focus is on collecting, producing, and disseminating research and statistical data as well as practical examples and operating models. The main target groups are national, regional, and local decision-makers and administrations, in particular representatives of organisations in the fields of education, employment, and economic activity.
TUUMA27 is a network project supporting the implementation of the overall rural policy programme and the tasks of the Rural Policy Council MANE. The project is implemented by the University of Helsinki Ruralia Institute and funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
