Universal electromagnetic radiation detector

UNIDET project aims at development of a universal electromagnetic radiation detector based on the photoacoustic effect. The detector is designed to measure radiation power with high precision over a large dynamic range, with wide spectral coverage that extends from visible to far-infrared and THz. Potential applications of the new detector technology include spectroscopy, imaging and optical metrology.
