Project description: In the research project the phenomenon of evaluation is approached as “a project in itself” and the question “what kind of structures, activity and culture does evaluation represent and produce in the contexts of Finnish rural and regional policy?” is asked. It is a part-project related to a doctoral thesis. The research project is related to an international project entity Decentralised control and power in the networks of rural policy, financed by the Academy of Finland.
