Вопросы представления специальной лексики в туристическом словаре-разговорнике

In this paper, we discuss presentation of terminology in an electronic dictionary and phrase book for tourists. Although phrase books are widely spread and have a long history, there is very little theoretical and methodological literature on their compilation. For a terminologist, working on a tourist dictionary provides valuable insights into the opposition between LGP and LSP vocabulary and presentation of terminology in an LGP dictionary. The dictionary we are discussing is a part of an integrated e-service for tourists, which combines a dictionary, a phrase book and a machine translation solution with speech recognition and text-to-speech technology.
