Sammanfattning
We explore, with the aid of a gaze synchrony measure and its corresponding graph, the circumstances that give rise to student interactions during an open ended collaborative mathematics problem solving session in the classroom. We derive our gaze synchrony measure from gaze tracking data obtained in a live classroom. With the aid of our tool we identify a phenomenon which we call goal proximity as the leading cause of focused student interaction in our case study.
