The Wildlife Richness Index (WRI) describes the species richness and species abundance of forestdwelling game species. In this article we will analyze the wildlife richness, its’ conservation and social-economic dimensions in Eastern Fennoscandia in 2007-2011 for spatial-temporal trends and discuss
the applicability of the WRI as a management tool
