This article studies question 1 of the Quaestiones disputatae found in the manuscript Florence, Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale, Cony. Soppr., D. 6. 359. I argue that Peter de Trabibus is the author of this interesting text. In addition, I show that the question exemplifies an exceptional view about the creation and the Trinity in late 13th-century discussions.
