Sammanfattning

The Repatriation of Deported Women in Germany : The Conditions of Entrance and Life in France of Native East-European Women in the Aftermath of the Second World War In 1945, at the time of their release, Frenchmen prisoners of war or deported forced workers in Germany demonstrate the wish to come back to France with their companions, Polish and Russians women deported themselves to the manufacturing plants of Germany. Why do these young women migrate to France ? Why do the French authorities admit them ? What are the respective stakes of the Nation-state, of these men and women whose lives were broken by deportation ?
