Sammanfattning

This report is a contribution of the Task Force 1 (TF1) focusing on the analysis
of existing service (innovation) typologies. Services cut across the economy and
they typically represent 70-80 % of economic activities in the national economy.
As a very broad general level category services include a highly heterogeneous
group of industries and activities. Still services and related innovation is
typically addressed as a one single entity that can be targeted with one uniform
policy.
By presenting a range of service and service innovation typologies TF1 seeks
to:
x Highlight the variety of services and related innovation activities
x Present systematic approaches to address different types of services by
means of innovation policy
